Several companies have added their apps to PhonePe’s app store.

Apple and Google currently rule the App Store, but soon both companies are going to face tough competition. Digital payments company PhonePe is preparing to launch its own app store to compete with Apple and Google. The name of this app store of PhonePe will be Indus Appstore. It is being told that it will be an Android-based marketplace.

If you use an Android smartphone, you will soon find a new store called the Indus App Store along with the Google Play Store. The company may launch it on February 21 and it will be available to users by the end of this month.

The apps will be available in multiple languages.

Users will find apps in a total of 12 languages in the Indus App Store. It will include languages like Hindi, English, Malayalam, Marathi and Tamil. Let us tell you that several apps have already joined the platform before the launch, including Flipkart, Domino’s Pizza, Ixigo, JioMart, Snapdeal, and Bajaj Finser. Apart from this, Mobile Premier League (MPL), TOI and Wow Skincare have also become a part of this app.

We tell you that PhonePe opened its app store for Android developers about 4 months ago. The arrival of this app store will directly compete with the Google Play Store. Because all android users around the world use only google play store to download apps. The arrival of the Indus App Store may reduce the number of Google Play Store users.

You will be able to buy apps with zero commission.

Let us tell you that Google takes 15% commission on app purchases from Play Store, whereas if you buy apps from Apple’s App Store, you have to pay around 25 to 30% commission. But, PhonePe has promised that it will not charge any commission on in-app purchases. That means users will be able to buy apps at a cheaper price due to zero commission. We inform you that PhonePe is backed by Walmart.
