This Gurugram builder was selling flats in the name of a government scheme, action taken by RERA

RERA Gurugram: The Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) has imposed a fine of Rs 25 lakh on Yeshvi Homes Pvt Ltd in a major crackdown in Gurugram. RERA took this step when it came to know that this builder was selling his flats in the name of government scheme. The Real Estate Authority found that the company had published a misleading advertisement of its real estate project in a leading newspaper under the name of State Government Scheme Deen Dayal Jan Awas Yojana (DDJAY) 2016.

RERA itself took notice.

RERA Gurugram has taken cognizance of the matter and termed the advertisement as completely false which is misleading the consumers. Yeshvi Homes is developing a residential project called Golden Gate Residency in Sector 3, Farooq Nagar, Gurugram. This project is being developed under DDJAY scheme. According to the news published in the English economic portal Moneycontrol, these details have been received.

Builder gave wrong information in advertisement – RERA

Yeshvi Home found that the advertisement printed by the builder said Deen Dayal Jan Awas Yojana 2024 while the real name of the scheme is Deen Dayal Jan Awas Yojana (DDJAY) 2016. This is totally wrong and misleading.

In its official statement, RERA said that the promoters of the company did not mention the registration number of the realty project and the website of the authority correctly. As per RERA rules it is necessary to state. According to Money Control, the promoters did not respond to queries in this regard.
