Now, with the release of the trailer, viewers have got an interesting glimpse of the story, which revolves around the legendary Indian football coach Syed Abdul Rahim and his profound impact on Indian football during the golden era of Indian football. The film takes the audience on a journey that shows how Rahim created history and broke records for India in the world of football. Even after 60 years, he is remembered for his achievements in the world’s most played sport. In this film, Ajay Devgan has brought to life the story of the great coach Syed Abdul Rahim.

Apart from Ajay Devgn’s grand presence, Maidan also stars Premani, Gajraj Rao and famous Bengali actor Rudranil Ghosh in lead roles. Presented by Zee Studios and Bayview Projects in association with Fresh Lime Films, this cinematic venture is directed by Amit Ravindranath Sharma. The screenplay is by Seven Quadras while the dialogues are penned by Ritesh Shah. The music of the film was composed by the famous AR. Developed by Rahman, lyrics are penned by Manoj Munteshir Shukla.
Produced by Zee Studios, Boney Kapoor, Arunav Joy Sengupta and Akash Chawla, Maidan is slated to hit theaters on Eid in April 2024.
