Mohammad Shami is out.
Gujarat Titans star fast bowler Mohammad Shami has been ruled out of IPL 2024 due to injury. Last month Shami had a successful heel surgery. He is currently being monitored by the BCCI medical team. In the last two seasons, he performed well while playing for Gujarat Titans and won many matches. Gujarat Titans have suffered a severe blow with his dismissal. Ahead of IPL 2024, the Gujarat team has made Shubman Gill the captain. It remains to be seen who leads the bowling attack in Shami’s absence.
In the mega auction of IPL 2022, Gujarat Titans team bought Mohammad Shami for Rs 6.25 crore. He has taken a total of 48 wickets in IPL for Gujarat Titans. In IPL 2022, he has been instrumental in helping Gujarat Titans win the title.
