Mumbai: At the end of the Bharat Jodo Naya Yatra, Rahul Gandhi launched a scathing attack on the NDA and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Congress leader said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi is just a mask. Just like Bollywood actors are given a role and have to act accordingly, Modi too has got a role, he is told. That you have to do this in the morning. You have been told this, you will do it the day after tomorrow. Get up in the morning, go to the sea and sit in a seaplane.”

Rahul Gandhi said that PM Modi is not a 56 inch chest but a hollow person. In a scathing attack on the central government and the Prime Minister, the Congress leader said that Raja’s soul lives in institutions like EVM, ED, CBI and Income Tax Department. Opposition leaders are being intimidated by misusing these agencies. They are being threatened to either come with us or get ready to go to jail.
In this public meeting, Rahul Gandhi gave the example of former Congress leader Ashok Chavan and said that he had received a call from Sonia Gandhi before leaving the Congress. Crying, he told Sonia Gandhi that he did not have the courage to fight her power. I don’t want to go to jail so I am leaving Congress party. However, Rahul Gandhi did not mention Ashok Chavan’s name during this time.
Change needed in country: Sharad Pawar
Earlier, while addressing the public meeting, Sharad Pawar said that there is a need to bring change in the country today. BJP has deceived the people of the country by giving false assurances. Together we have to remove BJP from power. He said that Indian unity is fighting this Lok Sabha election to save the country’s democracy.
India needs unity now: MK Stalin
At the mega rally of India Unity, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin said, “India needs unity now. PM Modi has done only two things in the last 10 years, first foreign tours and second bogus propaganda. We have to stop it now. That is our agenda.” He said that we have come to work for the people in politics. Rahul Gandhi has traveled all over India to understand the heart of India. This is a journey to restore the India that has been destroyed by the BJP.
