According to a new report, Apple’s foldable iPhone could be launched in the first quarter of 2027. Korean outlet AlphaBiz has reported that the company is pushing the launch of this phone due to some important reasons. Apple’s foldable phone is expected to be delayed due to supply chain and demand for foldable displays.
Earlier, there was a report that during the testing of this foldable iPhone by Apple, some technical flaws were found in the foldable display, due to which its launch might be delayed. Apple’s foldable iPhone will be thinner and more flexible than the foldable smartphones already launched in the market. Apple has also applied for a patent for this technology.
There will be a challenge from Samsung and Google.
However, Apple has yet to reveal plans for its first foldable smartphone. Apple’s foldable iPhone will compete directly with foldable phones from Samsung and Google. Also, some Chinese brands will not launch their next foldable phones. However, Vivo’s next foldable smartphone Vivo Fold 3 is all set to hit the market soon.
According to reports from a Chinese social media platform, Apple encountered several problems with the display of the foldable iPhone during testing, due to which Apple stopped its development.
