Vidya Malwade married Arvind Baga in 1997. But only after 3 years of marriage, the actress’s husband died in a plane crash. Vidya had gone into depression due to her husband’s death. Meanwhile, Vidya also thought of committing suicide. “I was working as an air hostess and when the accident happened, the company asked me to take the next flight and go back to Frankfurt,” Vidya said.
The actress further said that ‘I came to know that my husband died in a plane crash. I was not in my senses after that, I realized that everything was going wrong that day. At that time, only the parents of the actress supported her. Vidya then married screenplay writer and associate director Sanjay Dima in 2009.
Let us tell you that Sanjay directed the movie ‘Ram Ji London Wale’ in the year 2005. Vidya worked with Shah Rukh Khan in the film Chak De. The actress started her career in 2003 with the film ‘Antha’. After Chak De, Vidya also played the role of Manisha Lamba’s mother and Sanjay Dutt’s wife in the film Kidnap and the actress played Aftab Shivdasani’s sister in the horror film 1920: The Evil Returns.
