Sixth list of BJP candidates released, Union Minister’s ticket cut from Manipur – India TV Hindi

New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has released its sixth list of candidates for the Lok Sabha elections. There are three candidates in the list. BJP has canceled the ticket of MLA Jaskur Meena from Dosa in Rajasthan and declared Kanhaiya Lal Meena as its candidate. Along with this, the ticket of Karoli Dholpur MP Dr. Manoj Rajoria has also been cancelled. BJP has given ticket to Indu Devi Jatav in place of Manoj.

So far the names of 24 candidates have been announced.

Congress has declared Murari Lal Meena as its candidate from Dosa. Congress has given ticket to Bhajan Lal Jatav from Karoli-Dholpur Lok Sabha seat. BJP has announced candidates for 24 out of 25 Lok Sabha seats in the state.

Announcement of Manipur candidate

On the other hand, BJP has also announced the name of its candidate for a seat in Manipur. The ticket of Union Minister Rajkumar Ranjan Singh MP from Manipur Inner has been cut. In place of Rajkumar, BJP has made T Basant Kumar Singh as its candidate.

Earlier on Sunday, the BJP released the list of seven more candidates from Rajasthan for the Lok Sabha polls. The party has re-fielded two sitting MPs Sukhbir Singh Jaunpuria from Tonk-Swai Madhopur and Bhagirath Chaudhary from Ajmer. Bhagirath Chaudhary was fielded in the assembly elections in December last year but he lost the election. The party has given ticket to Rao Rajendra Singh from Jaipur Rural and Shobhakaran Chaudhary from Jhanjhunu. Both are former MLAs.

Women also got tickets.

Of the seven candidates announced by the party, three are women. Among the candidates announced today is a woman. BJP has fielded Priyanka Balan from Ganganagar, Manju Sharma from Jaipur and Mahima Vishweshwar Singh from Rajsamand. Mahima Vishweshwar Singh is a member of the erstwhile royal family of Udaipur. She is the wife of BJP MLA Vishwaraj Singh Mewar. She will contest the Lok Sabha elections from the Rajput-majority Rajsamand seat. The Rajsamand Lok Sabha seat fell vacant after MP Daya Kumari was elected as MLA in the 2023 assembly elections.
